Riot Games

Riot Games (EU+US) Setup:

Riot Games is, at it's core, a Shopify-based retailer so general Shopify guidance applies however due to recent demand and the additional minor adjustments for usernames we have decided to create a separate reference guide.

  • Store: Select your preferred Riot Games region such as "Riot Games EU" from the dropdown.
  • Sizes: Leave as "Random" unless multiple variants exist.
  • Monitor Input: Use the product URL or keywords (e.g., https://merch.riotgames.com/en-gb/product/riftbound-spiritforged-booster-display/ or riftbound,spiritforged,booster,display). HOWEVER we strongly advise you to use early links where possible as not all products are loaded on their Shopify/products.json endpoint - In situations where that occurs no keywords will work, only URL input.
  • Mode: Safe Preload on initial releases, Safe on restocks/random releases.
  • Proxies: Use a mix of ISP and residential proxies. Include a few no-proxy tasks as well.
  • Delays: Start with 3500/3500 and adjust as needed.
  • Accounts: Riot Games requires accounts. Please ensure your profile has your username inputted inside the 'Advanced -> Username' field in the billing tab and that you have added your account to the account tab in the format of 'username:password' - Do NOT use 'email:password' for Riot Games.

And your account tab should include your account like so;

When to Start Tasks on Initial Releases:

  • Start some tasks before the queue forms.
  • However, strategically start most tasks so they exit the queue just before the drop.
  • Example: If the queue time is ~3 minutes and the drop is 7 minutes away, hold off on starting tasks until the queue is around 5-6 minutes long.
  • Be prepared for potential requeuing if the queue resets at drop time. Nothing you can do about this other than to sit through it.

When to Start Tasks on Restocks/Random Releases:

Additional notes:

  • When timing your Shopify tasks around the queue, aim to start them strategically so that you’re getting out of the queue just before the drop time. To check the current queue time, you can start a few tasks and see the estimated time presented, then use this to gauge when to begin most of your tasks. For example, if the queue time is around 3 minutes, but the release is 7 minutes away, hold off until the queue is closer to 5-6 minutes to start most tasks. This way, you’ll exit the queue 1-2 minutes before the drop, right when the product is about to release.
  • We'd recommend you only run one task per account where possible regardless of if targeting different items per task (If not using multi-cart);
  • You can use 'Multi-Cart' to purchase multiple items in one cart, simply head to the 'Multi-Cart' tab and input the additional product link(s) as usual. All items must be available in order for multi-cart to proceed so do bear that in mind.
  • When setting your quantities you must ensure the quantity you input does not exceed any limitations the store may have otherwise your tasks will not proceed to checkout. If in doubt, simply use '1' quantity unless you know for certain the max quantity allowed on said product(s).
